Every Brazilian knows the country's passion for football, but anyone who follows the national sporting scene knows the story goes far beyond Flamengo and Palmeiras. Brazilian volleyball is a world benchmark, basketball is having a revival with the NBB, and MMA/UFC already draws massive crowds every weekend. The 9897bb understood this and built a sports section that covers all these disciplines with the same quality and depth it dedicates to football.
Volleyball is one of the sports with the highest bettor engagement at 9897bb. And for good reason: the men's and women's Superliga delivers intense matches, historically dominant clubs, and a passionate fanbase stretching from Rio to the interior of Paraná. On the platform, you'll find dozens of markets per match — final result, total sets, set handicap, exact set score, and even player performance bets. During the Superliga's knockout stages, betting volume on 9897bb matches the energy on the court.
Basketball has been growing steadily in Brazil, and the NBB is at the heart of that expansion. Clubs like Flamengo, Franca, Minas, and Bauru are drawing more attention than ever — and more bettors. The 9897bb covers every NBB game with result markets, point handicaps, total points, quarter betting and player performance markets. For those who also follow the NBA, the platform offers full coverage of the American league with odds updated in real time through the night.
MMA is perhaps the fastest-growing sport in Brazil over the last decade. With Brazilian fighters consistently ranked among the world's best in the UFC — from Alexandre Pantoja to Alex Poatan to Amanda Nunes — interest in fight betting has exploded. The 9897bb covers every UFC event with a wide range of markets: fight winner, method of victory (knockout, submission, or decision), specific round, whether it goes to the ground, fight duration, and much more. During live events, odds shift after every round to reflect what's happening inside the octagon.
Tennis is another sport with a loyal betting community at the 9897bb. Grand Slams like Roland Garros, Wimbledon, and the US Open attract bettors who enjoy analysing surface, physical condition, and head-to-head records. On the platform you'll find granular markets — bets on individual sets, games within sets, tiebreaks, and even serve performance. That level of detail is what sets 9897bb apart from platforms that only offer a simple match result.
E-sports deserve a special mention. Brazil is one of the most important countries in competitive gaming, with League of Legends, CS2, Valorant and Free Fire teams that compete — and win — at the highest level worldwide. The 9897bb covers the CBLOL, LBFF, VCT championships and international leagues with pre-match and live betting. It's common to see younger bettors who have never wagered on football but place bets every week on CBLOL matches. 9897bb has fully embraced this audience with e-sports-specific markets, competitive odds and an interface that works flawlessly on mobile — which is how most of this generation watches games.
Beyond the major sports, the 9897bb also covers the less obvious sports that have loyal betting communities in Brazil: futsal, handball, rugby sevens, cycling, Formula 1, and boxing. The platform understands that every bettor has their own favourite sports and that the catalogue needs to be broad enough for those who don't want to stick to the most popular options. You can build a parlay combining a Saturday night UFC bet with a Sunday morning volleyball bet and an NBB game result in the afternoon — all on the same ticket, with the total return calculated in BRL.
From an operational standpoint, the 9897bb treats every sport with the same speed when it comes to payments. Deposit via Pix, funds land instantly, place your bet, win, and withdraw back through Pix in up to 60 seconds. That simple, fast cycle is why Brazilian bettors make 9897bb their go-to platform — no matter which sport they're betting on that week.
